History: The child of a Dilettante, who enjoyed hunting, Paelias was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Rolen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He's also a talented Navigator, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: Suhnae hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Suhnae was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against illithids

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Layabout. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he's in love

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
