When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Theriatis was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Naill isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Elven unity. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He comes from a rich western family. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Gifted from a young age, Nim studied abroad. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Tailor. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
