Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gennal does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gennal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Thervan was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
