Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Aust was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Himo abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

His Stetson hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. Azaki enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Azaki lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bookbinder arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
