Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Assassin who has hired him part-time. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: Nim was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and yellow handkerchief worn on his right side. His tied-back hair is red. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, marred by sweets. His brown hair, when down, is lengthy. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hadarai grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he loathes his own lifestyle

Description: This fat western man has a bulbous nose and wears a black costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He keeps his long chestnut hair kept up in a rat tail. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aust grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aust. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture.
