History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Lucan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Heian grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Heian. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and expand his business

Description: He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his nunchaku with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He carries with him a set of nunchakus on his belt, each one with a topaz on the hilt. He keeps his long brown hair kept up in a rat tail. He has green eyes and a black hat with a brown feather.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Stylist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
