He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was born in a small island village. He has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he seems to be bored by most things

History: Varis hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this northern guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. A gifted student he started as a Stylist, but he got bored and became a Roofer. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 15 years.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and sabotage a competitor
