History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He is a Metallic Dragon in disguise. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job; and sabotage a competitor

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He comes from a rich western family. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered east to less war torn lands. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he desires power and/or immortality

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Butcher; and obtaining odd cultural elven artifacts is his passion
