Description: This exceptionally lanky man wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Varis will drive conversation. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Varis grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Varis. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Varis fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Naal is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Naal was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Carter; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

History: Suhnae lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Jeweler. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
