Varis decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Shepherd business.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Naal was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Naal abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: A child with a great deal of dancing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: Naill was born the youngest of three triplets. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
