History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vanuath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vanuath. After months of barely getting by, Vanuath managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Enialis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.
