History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. After a long history of fighting, Lucan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Heian was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many giants want him driven away.

History: He was born in the north. Thamior was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Mercenary. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Thamior fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Riardon embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.
