History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Healer kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

History: Koeth lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
