Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Korfel was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Through the years after Aelar was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west.
