His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

History: Born to a Mercenary, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 16th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by giants. Berrian was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the giants.
