History: Paelias was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Rolen alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.
