Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Layabout arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Being a Layabout kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and regain custody of his daughter
