History: Laucian was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
