Personality: He is a Fortune-teller first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Through the years after Theren was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Theren's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now owns his own business.

He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has never given up on his singing dream.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it
