History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Varis grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took after his mother in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his mother taught him to defend himself. When his mother died while fighting goblins, the young Varis began to lead the lost caravan. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Laborer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
