History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Theren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Theren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
