History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Gennal was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Gennal's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Herbalist and was forced into it by his family; and seeks redemption

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. A gifted student he started as a Mayor, but he got bored and became a Mortician. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and expand his business

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and many brigands want him driven away
