His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fisher arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
