His eyes are gray and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He became a Sage soon after.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Sage responsibilities is difficult; and a rival would like him out of the picture
