History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gennal. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Peren was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with his Bellfounder mother left him crippled. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
