History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He struck the Carter job and began his own company from there.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rolen does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Rolen was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
