Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: Born in the east to a Ruler, Varis learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Through the years after Varis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Varis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ruler.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, he is wearing dark clothing and a heavy breastplate, keeping many of his physical features obscured. Sporting a golden mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 2. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his father's many stories. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he's looking for his big break

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a red vest and prefers black and yellow shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. He has shaved his head bald. He has a dull look in his green eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Erevan never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Motivation: To be a Bookbinder again; and balancing his hectic life and new mortician responsibilities is difficult

Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. With bright blonde hair and a scraggly beard. His eyes are a pleasant brown.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac
