History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by drow. Heian was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bookbinder. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Heian was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born in the south. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
