History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Theren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Theren. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Animal Trainer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Animal Trainer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.
