Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears very tight pants and wife beaters, though occasionally he sports a blue coat. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His chestnut hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are likewise blue. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Efferil is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Efferil and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born in a small desert village. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to find somewhere to settle down

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Ahvain grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His childhood dream was to be a Jeweler, but he was a colossal failure. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
