Koeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Masseuse mother left him crippled. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Arannis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He became a Cook soon after.
