Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Arannis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and his religion dominates his actions

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Heian embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature nunchaku.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: This western man is dressed in an above average manner. His clothes are grease stained in places. He has chestnut hair. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He hates orcs. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Heian hails from a village terrorized by orcs. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Heian alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: He wears a custom-built plate barding that's adorned with brown lining and desert motifs. He carries a battered spear and tarnished shield as well. His black hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. The war was a terrible time for him, and Uthemar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Uthemar has worked very hard to control his curse. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
