Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Vanuath does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Vanuath alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Rolen hails from a village terrorized by drow. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Spy hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Rolen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.
