History: Ahvain hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Elven people; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
