History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Rael was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He moved out west to avoid the crime he committed. Being a Slave Trader kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
