When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Rolen was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Rolen's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Rolen and his spouse have recently divorced.
