History: Heian lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. His philosophy is that everyone needs a friend and as such shows hospitality towards all.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he's in love

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Theriatis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Traki was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Traki was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He bought a scimitar and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Varis was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Varis decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Knight; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
