History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Koeth alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in spear use. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
