History: Born in the east to a Roofer, Varis learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. A freak accident while working with his Ploughman mother left him crippled. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and to clean up the streets
