History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Korfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

History: Lamlis was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Lamlis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Lamlis was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the drow.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.
