History: The child of a Engraver, who enjoyed hunting, Soveliss was taken on many hunting expeditions. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many brigands want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

History: Born in the north to a Baker, Gennal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Being a Baker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Through the years after Arannis was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Arannis's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.
