History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Adran was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Adran liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Gifted from a young age, Quarion studied abroad. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the east. His childhood dream was to be a Shoemaker, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Shipwright job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Nim lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a broad hat. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. Dreali enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
