Personality: He snorts whenever he laughs or is feeling confident. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aelar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Aelar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Description: 5'5" and muscular, this western man wears black trousers with violet and blue striped suspenders. He wears various colorful collared shirts. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His half smiles and blue eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Engraver born in the past three hundred years. Aelar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Aelar was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Aelar took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up mace and armor he uses now. He's also a talented Mortician, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and many brigands want him driven away

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He found a children's book about a Elf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and he desires power and/or immortality
