Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Animal Trainer arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. After coming to the age of reason, Varis took it upon himself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
