History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. The war was a terrible time for him, and Varis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He wears a colorful flower in his chestnut hair. His eyes are violet and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: This man loves dancing and to teach people dancing more than just about anything. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Being a Stylist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. A true patriot, Laucian would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Laucian was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When Laucian reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He is a hateful person. He taunts others and blames them for his problems. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Nutae alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
