History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Carrie was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and a rival would like him out of the picture

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the south to a Soapmaker, Adran learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adran grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adran. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. The war was a terrible time for him, and Lamlis does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Lamlis was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
