History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He was granted martial powers by his dying brother.

To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
