History: Heian was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. His childhood dream was to be a Barrister, but he was a colossal failure. He became a Marshal soon after.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break.

He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Elves became a terror of the countryside. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: He was born in a small plains village. He became part of the deadliest team of assassins in recent memory. A botched job caused the group to be disbanded. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and seeks redemption
