History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is wearing a tight blue one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. His hair is short and golden. His eyes are likewise amber. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is a Sailor first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: Ahvain was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When Ahvain reached his early adolescence his Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After months of barely getting by, Ahvain managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Description: A 4'10" southern man, he does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Bookbinder born in the past three hundred years. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Koeth grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Koeth. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Bookbinder for the past few years.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he has decided he is irredeemable

History: Theren was born with his mother's beautiful face. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to share knowledge with the world
