He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Carpenter they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Guard, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Born to a Apothecary, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Peren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Azaki hails from a village terrorized by illithids. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and further expansion of business
